Implementing GoPay
You can activate GoPay in your e-shop directly in the BizWebs administration
1. In the SETTINGS / PAYMENT GATEWAYS section, select GoPay (REST API).
2. Check the Active box and fill in the following details:
- Mode – set it according to the current gateway mode. For a new setup, select test mode. Once approved by GoPay, switch to live mode.
- Display of the payment gateway – choose one of the options:
- Redirect to page – redirects the customer to the payment gateway page after completing the order,
- Inline payment – displays the payment window directly on the e-shop page without redirection.
- GDPR Compliance – confirm consent to send data to GoPay.
- GoPay ID (GoID), Client ID, Client Secret – fill in the details provided by GoPay. The Secure Key field can remain empty.
3. Perform the set of tests required and contact GoPay.
NOTE: GoPay verifies whether test transactions were completed, so it is highly recommended to perform them.
WARNING:
Never delete test orders, only cancel them. This will prevent issues with the payment gateway.
4. After testing, send a request to the bank to switch to live mode. The bank will provide live credentials, which need to be entered into SETTINGS / PAYMENT GATEWAYS / GoPay.
5. Switch the mode to LIVE and save.
6. If the payment gateway is active in BizWebs, link it to a payment method. In SETTINGS / ORDERS / PAYMENTS, create a new payment method named after the payment gateway (e.g., PayPal, TrustPay).
Select the currency and fee for the payment method as desired. In the Advanced tab, choose the payment gateway system this payment method is linked to.
Save the new payment method.
This payment method will now be available for your clients in the order form.
