Display estimated delivery date in product page
One of the key function in your Flox 3 store is to display product status availability. Under the product preview show recent warehouse status or estimated delivery date.
You can set up specific dates to deliver an item to the customer in the system or inform the customer about the deadline for order creation.
Settings in admin section:
1. First of all, activate your warehouse in the admin section and use default statuses or create a new one.
2. From the list of all statuses choose the one with positive product availability and click on the pencil icon to edit status.
3. In tab- AVAILABILITY go to the STORE section and fill in the number of days to delivery and order deadline when the customer must order a product.
Attention: When setting up a number of delivery days, the system counts only business days. Holidays and weekends are not counted in these days.
For example: Let´s say, that we will use status "In stock". We know we are able to deliver the item within 5 days from the order. So we set up 5 days and order deadline for 15:30. Our customer decides to buy a product on 26.05.2017 (Friday) at 12:30. The system shows a delivery day on 02.06.2017- after 5 business days. After customer moves the mouse cursor, the system displays deadline when is necessary to make an order to have the item on the desired day.
